You can't do astronomy or astrophotography unless the weather is favorable and with the cost of gas, it's a pain in the wallet to drive out to Tierra del Sol, in eastern San Diego County just to be clouded out. I don't use just one of the San Diego CA Weather Forecast links to make the decision to make the trip, I use them all. I find that if I look at all the data for the weather forecast links along with the Clear Sky Clock, I'm able to be fairly accurate in my decision to make the trip.
